"4,880 trades, a decrease of 7.7% compared to 2022 and a general price increase of 2.7%. This is taken over by the 2023 Real Estate Observatory, led by the estate agents belonging to Fiaip Torino (Italian Federation of Professional Real Estate Agents).
A course that is analogous also in the rest of the province where with 19,343 transactions a decrease of the 11.2% and a light increment of the prices of the 1.5% is recorded. Overall in Turin there are 34,223 trades concluded in the year with -9.7% compared to the previous year.
"A good number of trades and rising prices show a still dynamic and healthy market. Despite the decrease in transactions, prices in 2023 are rising, with greater increases in the capital than in the outside. A constant and slight rise that characterizes the Turin market in recent years", comments Claudia Gallipoli, president of Fiaip Torino.
The values of the houses see increases in the average price per square meter in all areas. The most significant increases are in the semi-central areas, such as Sao Paolo, Parella, Cenisia, Santa Rita, Pozzo Strada, San Salvario and Aurora, but also some suburban districts record increases in value as Lingotto, among the highest in percentage terms, Mirafiori South and also Barrier of Milan, which marks a slight increase. Increases brought about by improved infrastructure in some micro-areas or sub-areas...."
With the momentum in transactions, house prices have also started to rise again: an average increase of 1.5% for Turin, and +1% for the municipalities in the province.
